Eric Church’s new song “Never Break Heart” brought a message of perseverance against any obstacle life throws at you, encouraging fans to keep on fighting towards whatever it may be. The singer dropped the hopeful new track on Friday (Feb. 26).

“Go on and get born heart / And let your mama keep you warm heart / It’s okay to cry / But don’t never break heart,” Church sings in one of the choruses, as each chorus begins differently but ends with “It’s okay to cry / But don’t never break heart.”

Listen to the new song below.

“Never Break Heart” is the sixth track that appears on the Heart edition of his triple album, Heart & Soul.

Heart will release on April 16, & on April 20 and Soul on April 23. & will be available on vinyl exclusively for Church Choir members. Heart & Soul are the follow-up albums to Church’s 2018 release of Desperate Man.

Heart & Soul is a 24-track collection that features an elite list of songwriters who joined Church on his secluded songwriting marathon and recording sessions. The album was produced by his longtime producer Jay Joyce and backing vocalist Joanna Cotten, as well as his touring band who played alongside some of Nashville’s most talented studio musicians on the album.

Church previously live debuted an acoustic version of the track during ACM Presents: Our Country, which you can watch below.
