They say imitation is the biggest form of flattery, and Luke Bryan is experiencing that first hand.

The 47-year-old country music superstar, who has claimed the role of brand ambassador for the Jockey Outdoors collection, is now sharing that title with another artist — Dylan Scott.

A video shared by the brand on Instagram features Bryan and Scott exchanging conversation in the American Idol judge’s tour bus. As Scott enters the scene, viewers notice he is wearing the same outfit that the “But I Got A Beer In My Hand Singer” has on, which is a pair of brown slacks and a long-sleeve Henley shirt.

“It looks like you opened the door to my house, my closet and got in my wardrobe,” Bryan tells Scott, who replies, “I mean, the Jockey Outdoors Collection looks pretty good on me.”

“I think it looks even better on me,” Bryan quips.

“You know what they say, age before beauty. And I’m pretty proud to be the newest, youngest, partner of the Jockey Outdoors Collection,” Scott says before Bryan reminds his fellow country crooner that the Jockey Outdoors Collection includes the tag ‘Luke Bryan’ in its title.

Taking that tongue-in-cheek attitude outside of Instagram, Scott, 32, who also represents the Jockey Made In America Collection, further discussed modeling the apparel line and jokingly compared his appearance to Bryan’s in a press release, saying, “My favorite piece in the Jockey Made in America Collection is the Heritage T-shirt. It fits well, is comfortable ,and my wife likes it on me, so that’s a plus. I also think I pull it off better than Luke Bryan.”

“I’ve Worn Jockey For So Many Years”

Scott may be the newest addition to represent the brand, but he isn’t new to the lifestyle that Jockey is all about. The Multi-Platinum singer and New Male Artist of the Year Academy of Country Music (ACM) nominee happens to be a proud family man as well as an avid outdoorsman — two qualities that make him a great fit for the collection.

Opening up about his latest endeavor, Scott shared his enthusiasm for the partnership.

He said, “I’m absolutely beside myself to be partnering with such a legendary brand like Jockey. I’ve worn Jockey for so many years – not just because of the quality of their clothes, but the values they represent – family, community, traditions and service to others – things that are as equally important to me.”

On a more serious note, he then shared his respect for being able to support a collection that Bryan also represents, saying that he has alway looked up to the five-time Entertainer of the Year.

“I also have to admit, representing Luke Bryan’s clothing line is pretty cool, too,” Scott said. “I remember when I was 17 or 18 years old watching him perform, looking up to him, and now that we’re friends, to rep his Jockey Outdoors clothing line, it’s pretty cool. He probably thinks I’m the little brother that won’t go away!”

The Jockey Outdoors Collection

Jockey is a family owned company that has been carrying the legacy of quality, craftsmanship, and caring for communities for three generations. The Jockey Outdoors Collection includes both comfortable and rugged apparel crafted and stitched with Bryan style and personality in mind. Every piece is well thought out down to the fabrics, odor, stitching and protective finishes.

With the addition of Scott, Jockey VP of marketing Tom Hutchison shares in a press release: “We were drawn to Dylan because of his dedication to his family and community, passion for the outdoors, highly engaged fanbase and, of course, exceptional musical talent. His values align nicely with ours, and it’s these common threads that make him a great ‘fit’ for our Jockey Outdoors™ and Jockey® Made in America Collections. We’re excited to welcome him to the Jockey family.”

Scott’s newest venture with the brand comes after he has taken three of his singles “My Girl,” “Nobody,” and “New Truck” to the top of country radio and also secured a Top 5 hit with “Hooked.”
