The country music community is mourning the loss of America’s favorite TV dad, Bob Saget, who was found dead in Orlando, Fla. on Sunday (Jan. 9) at the age of 65.
As the news of his death spread, artists such as Mitchell Tenpenny, Mickey Guyton, Travis Denning, Jana Kramer, Sara Evans, Jordan Davis and more took to social media to share their memories and sentiments for the actor and comedian.
Saget was best-known for his starring role as Danny Tanner in the beloved family sitcom, Full House. Saget played the role of Tanner from 1987 to 1995 and later reprised the role on Fuller House in 2016. From 1989 to 1997, Saget served as the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos. Saget was also the host of CMT’s Nashville Squares, a country music spinoff of the game show Hollywood Squares, which premiered in November 2019.
“I’m so sad to hear about Bob Saget passing away!” Sara Evans wrote. “We met on the set of Nashville Squares, and he was as funny as he was kind. Sending prayers to his family!”
Jana Kramer, who also appeared on Nashville Squares, also shared her memories of Saget. “Life is so precious. Hug ur loved ones as tight as you can… u never know when it’s gonna be the last time,” Kramer wrote alongside a broken heart emoji. “Was lucky to have met Bob and was honored to be a friend. Thanks for the laughs. Sending so much love and prayers to my friend @eattravelrock.”
Mickey Guyton said that she was “completely heartbroken” over Saget’s death. “Sending love to his family,” she wrote.
Travis Denning, who was also grieving, wrote, “Full House was such a part of my upbringing, same for a million others.”

Saget’s death was confirmed by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, who said that there was no sign of foul play or drug use in the case.
Bob Saget is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three children: Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer.
