Some of country music’s hottest couples strutted down the red carpet prior to the 56th Annual CMA Awards for an anything but average date night at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Stars including Jelly Roll, Jake Owen, Jessie James Decker and more walked the carpet with their significant others.
Jon Pardi and pregnant wife Summer made a special appearance on the carpet as Summer showed off her baby bump in a white and silver cut out gown. Pardi wore an all-black suit paired with a matching cowboy hat to show off his classic country charm. The pair is expecting their firstborn baby girl in February 2023.
Megastar Carrie Underwood stunned in a beautiful one shoulder blue gown alongside husband Mike Fisher. The V-neck cut and layers of fabric create a dreamy illusion for the “Blown Away” singer. Underwood is nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
Cody Johnson walked arm and arm with wife Brandi across the coveted carpet. Johnson wore a gray tweed jacket and a black button up peeking out, with a white cowboy hat completing the look. Brandi was adorned in a classy black dress with mesh long sleeves. Johnson is nominated for three awards tonight: Male Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year with track “‘Til You Can’t.”
The Texas native secured his first-ever CMA Award for Video of the Year for “‘Til You Can’t” ahead of the show. The news was announced on Wednesday morning during ABC’s Good Morning America. Johnson is also set to perform the chart-topping hit tonight.
Breakthrough artist Lily Rose graced the carpet with fiancé Daira Eamon. Rose sported a crisp navy-blue open suit with a classic white t shirt underneath and a matching blue cap. Daira added a pop of color to the pair with a sparkly one-piece jumpsuit.
Parker McCollum and Hallie Ray Light served a clean and classic look on the carpet. McCollum wore an off-white suit jacket with a light blue button up underneath. He made sure to stay true to his country roots with a black cowboy hat, jeans and a western belt, while Hallie was adorned in a satin red dress. McCollum is nominated for New Artist of the Year.
