Country up and comer Chase Matthew shares his highly-anticipated track, “She Loves Jesus,” out now! Matthew’s newest single acts as his first release with Warner Music Nashville.

The heartfelt tribute to a faithful woman became an instant hit among fans after Matthew shared teasers via social media. Listen to “She Loves Jesus” here.

“I just wanna find a girl that my momma would be proud of/ One that wants to ride in my shotgun seat/ It’d be fine if she had a little heartbreak, that’s something she’s gonna fix with me/ Lord, you know that I’m rough around the edges/ I need a woman that can handle that/ Give me a love that’s everlasting/ Lord, help me find a love like that,” sings Matthew.

“This song’s special to me because I wrote it about what I feel like I would want in a wife,” said Matthew. “When my buddy, Will Pattat, and I sat down to write it, he played the piano, and I knew exactly what I wanted to say in that moment. This is for all the girls in this world who love Jesus and aren’t afraid to show it!”

The Nashville native is currently wrapping up his headline “Born For This Tour,” where he previewed the new track to thousands of fans throughout the nation over the summer and fall. That — combined with his more than 646,000 followers — created a level of hype around “She Loves Jesus” that Matthew was more than happy to rise to.

The country riser recently announced his new partnership with Warner Music Nashville, adding another accomplishment to the books. “There are a lot of things that are important to me as an artist. I want to be able to stay true to who I am and make music I know will resonate with my fans,” Matthew shared. “Ryan Upchurch gave me an opportunity that put me on the map. Looking forward, we wanted to maintain how we work but grow the team in order to build bigger. Warner Nashville understood our goals and provided the opportunity for a true partnership, allowing me to maintain my independence and creative control. I’m thrilled to be able to work with the Warner Nashville team and take this thing to a whole new level for the fans — all while keeping God’s plan first!”

“Chase’s mix of rebellion and reverence is what drew us to him,” Cris Lacy, co-president of Warner Music Nashville, said of Matthew. “The impact he has on his mass of loyal fans comes from music and messages that are unapologetically redemptive and put him squarely in the center of this format’s most authentic storytellers.” Ben Kline, co-president of WMN, adds, “The fan reaction to Chase and his music, both in his live show and in the streaming and engagement metrics, are proof of just how talented he is.”

To make things even sweeter, the singer sold-out his Nashville debut last month, where he gave a special performance of “She Loves Jesus” with his mom and grandmother.

It’s been a long journey for Matthew, and he reflected on the ups and downs in an Instagram post prior to his performance in Nashville, ensuring fans that he will always remember where he came from.

“As I go on stage tonight for the first time in my hometown, I know I will be reminded of many memories. Many good times and many bad. Many gains and many losses,” he said. “But everyone on top of one rooftop singing the same songs is what’s gonna bring us together ❤️ What i’ve learned is living out of a backpack and sleeping in a constantly moving bus can make you feel disconnected from yourself. I’ve realized that I’ve been gone so long from my hometown and I miss it. So tonight…in Nashville I’ll be doing the most epic hometown throw down EVER. Believe me when I say it. I’LL NEVER FORGET WHERE I CAME FROM.”

Additionally, Matthew currently has new music and 2023 touring plans in the works as he continues to ride the high of his growing success.
