It’s time to bring it on! Chapel Hart challenged their fellow America’s Got Talent season 17 competitor Drake Milligan to a country showdown.

“This is a season of country music, I would say, right?” Jackelyn Schultz of Talent Recap asked the trio following the latest episode of AGT.

“Yes,” they responded enthusiastically.

“I didn’t even think, like, we’re from Mississippi first of all, so like whenever we moved to New Orleans we were like, ‘yeah, nobody sings country,’” trio member Trea Swindle added. “And it’s like okay, maybe it’s just a Mississippi thing, but the fact that there are two amazing country bands on AGT like we’re bringing good country back,” she said.

Following Swindle’s comments, fellow Chapel Hart member Devynn Hart decided to kick things up a notch and challenge Milligan to a duel.

“I don’t know if Drake is watching this, but Drake I’m challenging you to a hip-moving contest,” she said.

“It might actually be between you guys,” Schultz noted before trio member Danica Hart remarked, “Drake, you win, she’s terrible.”

“You could’ve picked anything else to challenge him in and you and literally are going to challenge baby Elvis with hip movements?” Swindle continued.

While a hip challenge may be up in the air, a musical duel isn’t at all out of the realm of possibility.

“I think America is ready for a Western showdown,” Swindle said. “I mean, c’mon.”

Chapel Hart earned the coveted golden buzzer for their AGT audition. The trio sang an original tune they penned as a response to Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.”

Milligan also impressed AGT judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandell with his performance of an original song, which prompted Mandell to dub him “The New Elvis of Country.”

Both acts have continued to do well in the competition since their auditions and have landed spots in this season’s finale.

“We want to take a moment and thank each and every single one of you for taking the time to vote for us! We understand and recognize that none of this would be possible without God and all of the amazing folks who support us. We are forever grateful for y’all,” the trio wrote on Instagram following the news that they’d advanced to the show’s finale.

“We did it, guys! We made it to the @AGT finals. This was fan voted, so we truly couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to every single one of you that voted or cranked up,” Milligan expressed a similar sentiment on his own Instagram page.

This season’s two-night finale begins on Sep. 13 at 8pm EST.
