Carrie Underwood revealed she is afraid of turtles on Tuesday (Jan. 13).

During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Underwood played a game of true or false with Drew Barrymore, in which Barrymore had to guess which fact was true from a list that included “loves to eat frog legs,” “listens to ASMR before bed,” “has a fear of turtles,” or “has a pet snake.”

Barrymore guessed the correct answer which was “has a fear of turtles.” Which Underwood explained “It’s not like a petrifying fear of turtles, I feel like out of all the animals on the planet they’re the ones who have bit me the most.”

Underwood continued to say “I grew up in the country, turtles were the easiest things to catch cause they are slow and I would catch them and I love animals so much that I would always try to pet them or hug them, and that lead to them taking opportunities. I’ve been bitten by lots of turtles, it does not feel good.”

You can watch her confessing her fear of turtles during the show in the below video.

During the show, Underwood also surprised a 7-year-old girl named Hayley with a generous donation, which you can see HERE.
