Callista Clark is set to make her Opry debut!
The rising country star will fulfill her lifelong dream of performing in the sacred circle at the Grand Ole Opry as she makes her debut on July 30. The “It’s ‘Cause I Am” singer shared the exciting news via her Instagram on Friday (July 16).
“Y’all I’m so so SO excited to share that I will be making my @opry debut THIS summer on July 30, 2021. This is an absolute dream come true 💜🎉🙏🏻,” Clark captioned a photo of her Opry debut admat.
During a recent interview with Country Now’s Lauren Jo Black on Connect with Country Now, which streamed via CTRL_MUSIC_ on Twitch, Clark explained that when she is able to make her Opry debut, which is now coming to fruition, she will definitely cry.
“Yes, oh my gosh, but I’ve always said ‘I’m going to cry’ like it’s just a guaranteed thing. I don’t know how anyone gets through that without crying,” the 17-year-old admitted. “I would love for that to happen.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to release my first music video! This is the kind of thing I’ve always dreamed about. Being on set and watching it come to life was surreal.” Clark shared. Later adding, “’It’s ‘Cause I Am’ has completely changed my life. I’m absolutely amazed with the way everything came together and I can’t wait for y’all to see it!”
The empowerment anthem was co-written by Clark alongside Cameron Jaymes and Laura Veltz. The track appears on her debut EP, Real To Me.
