Brittany Aldean and Jason Aldean married in 2015, changing Brittany’s life in a major way. She moved to Nashville and became a fixture in the country music scene as the wife of one of its biggest stars, but the transition wasn’t an easy one.

Brittany On Finding Fame After Marrying Jason Aldean

In a new cover story interview with Beach Happy Magazine, Brittany reflected on her new direction, noting that when she and Jason got together, “All of a sudden, I was dating and marrying a superstar. And I had never been anywhere around anything like that.”

Brittany added that being attached to a public figure, which can make you somewhat of a public figure yourself, was another jarring reality to face. “I wasn’t used to people videoing every move you make or taking photos of you when you’re out, just not being able to have anything private anymore.”

The 36-year-old called the time “the most difficult transition of my life,” but shared that “what got me through was that I adored this man.”

She Revealed She Had To Grow Up Quickly

Prior to marrying Jason Aldean, Brittany had been living in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, working as a bartender. Of her husband’s successful career, Brittany recalled, “It made me think, well, you’ve been bartending and paying bills and loans for so long, but what are you actually going to do? I had to grow up pretty quickly.”

She began teaching makeup classes while out on tour before becoming an influencer, partnering with brands on social media as her following grew. “I always felt that I needed my own career path,” she explained. “I feel it’s important for me to have my own thing going.”

After the 2020 election, Brittany and Jason both began voicing their political opinions more loudly, attracting attention Brittany decided to lean into. In November 2021, she and sister-in-law Kasi Rosa launched a conservative clothing line, which recently launched clothing emblazoned with the lyrics of Jason’s controversial song, “Try That in a Small Town.”

The Couple Share Two Kids: Memphis and Navy

Along with being a social media influencer, Brittany has also become a mom in the years since marrying Jason Aldean, as the two welcomed son Memphis in December 2017 and daughter Navy in February 2019. Jason also shares two older daughters with ex-wife Jessica Ussery.

In 2022, the singer told Audacy’s Josh, Rachael and Grunwald that he and Brittany are likely done expanding their family. “I think we’re good,” he said. “I think she [Brittany] probably would go one more time, but I’m like, ‘we got one of each, and they’re awesome and you know… I’m good.”

Will Brittany And Jason Aldean Have More Kids?

Brittany shared a similar sentiment in an interview with US Weekly, revealing that while she would love to have another child, her husband was all set with four. “He has four, so I understand, but I would definitely do another one,” the American Idol alum told US. “We probably will not be contributing to the new [coronavirus] baby boom.”

The former NBA dancer added that she missed being pregnant, but was also enjoying seeing her two kids interact with each other.

“They interact, they play, so it’s a really special time,” she shared. “It’s the one positive thing that’s actually come out of the quarantine, being able to be there for all these little baby steps, and also Jason being here. Usually right now, he would be on tour, so it is a little bit of a blessing. That’s the silver lining in it all.”

While Brittany wants more kids, Jason Aldean told Taste Of Country that he believes his family is “complete.”

“I always tell my wife, I’m like, ‘if you have another baby, it’s going to be with a different husband. I’m out of the game.’ I’m out of the game… We have a great family, my two older daughters and then me and Britt have the two little ones. So, it’s complete. It’s great. We’ve got that and two dogs and some fish, and we’re good, house is full.”
