Kane Brown sustained an injury on Saturday evening after toppling off the stage and falling into the area in front of the pit on his Blessed and Free Tour. 

The incident took place in Memphis, TN at FedEx Forum on October 23, 2021. Brown entered the stage suspended from above and moments later, after greeting fans on the left side of the arena, he appeared to twist his ankle as he walked down the stage. While singing “Lose It,” he then fell off the stage, into the arms of a security guard.

In videos posted to TikTok, you can see the moment Brown twists his ankle and ultimately loses his balance. In the moments after the incident, an announcer reportedly told fans there were technical difficulties and the stage went dark.

According to fans, he powered through a few more songs despite the pain. He later took a seat for an acoustic set to perform several stripped-down versions of his songs. Clearly in severe pain, Brown was brought to tears while performing “Worship You.” The audience showed their overwhelming support, cheering him on as he attempting to sing.

Fans online praised Brown for continuing the show and trying to give them the best concert possible. 

After the show, Brown shared a video of his injury, joking, “Memphis it looks normal it’s fine.” 

Brown is scheduled to perform in Atlanta, Georgia tonight. 

His Blessed and Free Tour will then take a break before it picks back up November 4 in Washington, DC.
