One of Jason Aldean’s equipment trucks was involved in an accident just hours before his Charleston, West Virginia concert.

According to WOWKTV, a tractor trailer holding the country superstar’s gear crashed early Thursday (Oct. 14) morning in West Virginia on I-64.

Cabell County dispatchers reported that the crash happened around 4:20 a.m. local time near the 6th mile marker on I-64 in Huntington, West Virginia. While no injuries were reported, it appears the tractor trailer, hauling some of Aldean’s tour equipment, sustained front end damage.

Following the accident, one lane of I-64 East was shut down, however, it has since reopened.

WOWKTV morning news anchor Lily Bradley shared a photo of the incident.

Aldean, along with his Back In The Saddle tour mates including HARDY, Lainey Wilson and DeeJay Silver, is set to perform at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center at 7:30 p.m. local time.

The Georgia native recently announced plans to release his 10th studio album, Macon, Georgia

Arriving on April 22, 2022, via BBR Music Group, the two-part project features 30-tracks, including 10-live tracks and 20 new originals. The album will also feature the chart-climbing lead single, “If I Didn’t Love You,” a duet with Carrie Underwood.

On Nov. 12 fans will have access to fourteen new tracks as Aldean unleashes part 1 of his two part album.

“Where you were raised has such a big influence on who you become and for me it’s no different…especially from a music standpoint,” Aldean said. “My little hometown of Macon was heavily instrumental in my musical background. Growing up in an environment that was a crossroads between Country music, Southern rock, blues and R&B, it was just natural to blend different sounds in my on way.”

The Back In The Saddle Tour will wrap in Tampa, Florida at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on Saturday, October 30.

Aldean will enjoy a short break from the road before he returns to Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas for his Back in the Saddle: Las Vegas 2021 three-night mini-residency which runs December 9 through 11th.
