Fans will soon be able to ring in the holiday season with Gabby Barrett and Carly Pearce.
The superstars are joining forces to host CMA Country Christmas, which is guaranteed to get fans in the holiday spirit and airs later this month on ABC.
The exciting news was revealed during a commercial that aired in the midst of the 55th Annual CMA Awards broadcast on Wednesday evening (Nov. 10).
In the promo clip, the Country Music Association introduced the CMA Country Christmas hosts as they were shown inside a cozy home adorned with elegant holiday decor that will serve as the set for the show.
The holiday hosting gig marks both Barrett and Pearce’s first time hosting a national television show.
The star-studded lineup for the upcoming Christmas special has not yet been announced, however, it’s likely that Barrett and Pearce will take the stage during the show as both of the superstars recently shared their versions of classic Christmas songs.
Barrett recently released a chill-inducing rendition of “Silent Night,” while Pearce shared a stunning version of the modern Christmas classic, “Mary, Did You Know?.”
Barrett was a leading nominee for the 2021 CMA Awards, with four nominations: Female Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year for “The Good Ones.”
Pearce was crowned Female Vocalist of the Year and was also nominated for Album of the Year for 29.
Barrett previously performed “The First Noel” during the 2020 edition of the holiday special.
Barrett and Pearce follow beloved country couple Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins, who hosted in 2020.
In 2020, CMA Country Christmas featured performances from Barrett in addition to Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett, Tim McGraw and Darius Rucker with Lindsey Stirling.
The one-hour special is expected to air on Monday, November 29 at 8/7c on ABC.
