Blake Shelton just announced an 18-date winter 2023 tour with special guests Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean.
The country superstar took to social media on Wednesday morning (Sept. 7) to share the exciting tour announcement with fans.
“We’re throwing one hell of a party in 2023… the #BackToTheHonkyTonk Tour with @carlypearce and @thejacksondean is coming to a city near you!!! It’s going to be big,” Shelton wrote. “Tickets on sale September 16th and September 23rd – visit blakeshelton.com for more info. See y’all out there!!!”
The trek, dubbed the Back To The Honky Tonk Tour, will kick off on February 16 in Lincoln, NE at Pinnacle Bank Arena and continue through March 25, where the tour will wrap up at Keybank Center in Buffalo, NY.
“There’s nothing like getting out on the road and taking music to the fans,” Shelton said. “I feel just as excited to step on stage and perform as I did the very first time. I know my tour mates Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean feel the same, and I can’t wait for y’all to get to know them better. Break out the hats and boots, ‘cause we’re going back to the honky tonk!”
Shelton has ranked among Pollstar’s Top 200 North American Tour nearly every year for the past decade and will likely continue that streak with his just-announced run.
The tour marks Shelton’s first headlining trek since his consecutive Friends & Heroes Tour outings.
Tickets for the upcoming tour will go on-sale Friday, September 16 at 10 A.M. local time.
American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets for Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Knoxville, Birmingham, Jacksonville, Orlando, Louisville, Columbus, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Cincinnati, and Buffalo before the general public beginning Tuesday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. local time through Thursday, September 15 at 10:00 p.m. local time.
The tour announcement comes after Shelton released his ‘90s-inspired new single “No Body,” a track that was co-written by Rodney Clawson, Chris Tompkins and Josh Kear. The tune became the most-added song at Country radio upon impact last month.
Fans can catch Blake Shelton performing “No Body” on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday evening (Sept. 8). Shelton will also return to the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, Sept. 10.
