BBR Music Group’s Blanco Brown wrapped up a  historic 2019 as Billboard’s #1 Top New Country Artist on its year-end charts, and his newest collaboration titled “Just the Way,” with Stoney Creek Records’ platinum-selling band, Parmalee is entering 2020 as a streaming success.

Released just before the holidays, the from-the-heart single is currently on Spotify’s US and Canada’s Viral Top 50 playlists, the #1 Top Spinning and #1 Top Thumbed (for the 2nd week in a row)  track on Pandora’s “New Country” station and is featured on Sirius XM’s The Highway’s “On the Horizon” program. Connecting early with listeners, the song is inspiring fans to create their own videos on multiple platforms such as You Tube and TikTok, much like Blanco’s international smash single “The Git Up.”

The two artists debuted a snippet of the “feel-good, danceable” (The Boot) “Just the Way” onstage during halftime of Sunday Night Football on December 1 and will delight fans this weekend at Blanco’s Chicago show at Joe’s Live Rosemont this weekend with a full live performance of the song as Parmalee’s Matt Thomas joins Blanco onstage. Friends for several years, Parmalee and Blanco have written together on several occasions with this being their first collaboration.

“Just the Way,” written by Parmalee’s own, Matt Thomas as well as Kevin Bard and Nolan Sipe and produced by David Fanning, is upbeat song with a catchy melody that fits the content of the track. The from-the-heart track highlights Blanco’s vocals, in a new way, never heard before and  praises folks for being true to themselves and encourages self-acceptance with Sounds Like Nashville calling it, “A spiritually-minded ode to finding flawless perfection in the one you love, the track features a hip-pocketed groove and the hand-in-hand energy of a couple comfortable in their relationship — but it’s far from stale.”
