Fans are in for a treat as Blake Shelton is set to make a surprise pop-up appearance at Ole Red in Tishomingo, Oklahoma later this week.

The superstar teased his impending appearance at his hometown Ole Red on social media on Tuesday afternoon.

“Hey people! I’m thinking about doing something at Ole Red Tishomingo later this week. Not a big deal at all but just maybe play a few songs,” he wrote. “I’ll send an update for y’all in a day or so!”

Sent Fans Into A Frenzy

Fans flocked to the comments section to share their excitement. Some even offered to fly across the country to witness the impromptu performance.

“I may have to use some skymiles for a last minute trip,” one Twitter user wrote, while another shared, “Maybe you should give me a heads up so I can buy a plane ticket! Thanks!”

Others begged the country star to bring his wife, Gwen Stefani, while others asked him to consider visiting other Ole Red locations such as Gatlinburg.

Often Makes Surprise Performances At Various Ole Red Locations

Shelton has gained a reputation for making impromptu appearances at various Ole Red establishments on unexpected occasions.

Most recently, the “No Body” singer stopped by Ole Red located inside of Nashville’s BNA Airport within Terminal C. During this visit, he delivered a special live performance of the song that inspired the bar’s name.

“Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve been into the Ole Red in the airport. And thank you guys for supporting us and coming in,” Shelton shared at the time. “I figured I couldn’t come into an Ole Red without singing ‘Ol’ Red’!”

Gifted Morgan Alexander A Guitar

His appearance came in the midst of a local Nashville artist’s performance, Morgan Alexander, who offered a funny tune to welcome Shelton.

“Looks like we’ve got somebody here. He’s wearing a hat, that’s clear. That’s Blake. Oh, that’s Blake Shelton,” Alexander sang, introducing Shelton to the stage. “He’s right here in his brand new bar. Hey, that’s a country superstar. That’s Blake. That’s Blake Shelton.”

Alexander lent Shelton his guitar for the performance. Following the country superstar’s impromptu set, he surprised Alexander with the gift of a brand-new Takamine guitar, the same guitar Shelton used to gift his top contestants on NBC’s The Voice.

“Thanks, Blake, I’ll send you that song I wrote for ya with the guitar,” Alexander shared to social media, according to Ole Red’s website.

He also previously appeared at Ole Red in Tishomingo alongside his wife, Gwen Stefani, in July of 2021. The performance marked the newlywed’s first public performance since their wedding and acted as rehearsals for Shelton’s Friends And Heroes Tour.

Ole Red Las Vegas

Earlier this year, Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties broke ground on Ole Red Las Vegas at Caesars Entertainment’s Horseshoe Las Vegas. Spanning around 27,000 square feet and designed to accommodate 686 seats, Ole Red Las Vegas is on track to become the brand’s most expansive establishment yet and marks its inaugural presence in the western United States.

“If you are going to do something here, you’ve got to do it big,” shared Shelton. “Every time I’m in Vegas, I want some country music and Ole Red is the remedy for that.”

According to the official Ole Red website, Ole Red Las Vegas is scheduled to open in January of 2024.
