Cam Anthony and Emma Caroline performed Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber’s GRAMMY-award winning track “10,000 Hours” during the battle rounds on The Voice, a performance that earned each of them praise.

The Voice Coaches Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, Nick Jonas and John Legend were highly impressed by Anthony and Caroline’s vocal tones and abilities.

“Cam, Emma, very very nice, Blake well done, good coaching,” Jonas said as the pairing concluded their stunning performance.

“Wow, thank you Nick Jonas,” Shelton replied before Jonas added, “that’s the only compliment i’m going to give you today.”

“Emma, you’ve got this really pure beautiful tone that I think makes you standout,” Jonas gushed. “Cam, you have a real gift, there’s no denying it. Your stage presence, your breath control was phenomenal and you made some really cool choices. I would have to say I’d go with Cam, but Emma I think you were phenomenal.”

“Emma, your tone if really lovely, that clarity, that grace, the power, it’s really enjoyable to listen to your voice,” Legend added. “And Cam, Nick Jonas blocked when I wanted to have Cam on my team. You really seem to sing with passion and fire and conviction. That conviction pushed me over the edge with you a little bit more.”

“When John, Nick and Blake all talk about your tone and how amazing it is, I hope it makes you feel like a superhero, cause it would make me feel like a superhero,” Ballerini gushed of Emma. “That’s your magic power and I want to see you put your shoulders back and own it a little bit more, I could see you do one of these hey’s at one point and I was like ‘Yes.’”

“Cam, you’re so confident onstage and it’s beautiful to see the way that you played to her and the way that you played to us and the cameras and people at home watching,” Ballerini added. “That is so impressive, you’re 19, when I was 19 I was just like what’s up, am I still in college, I don’t know. Congratulations for being so awesome.”

“Emma – you’re an incredible vocalist, and it only appeared that you were having as much fun as we were listening to you in the moments when you weren’t singing,” Shelton said. “It’s frustrating to know that you’re that great of singer and I don’t know that you believe that you’re that great of a singer because of your body language.”

“Cam, your singing is unbelievable, your presence on stage, you look like you were born to do that,” Shelton gushed of Cam.

“10,000 Hours” is a collaborative track that was released in October of 2019 via a music video that features the superstar trio of artists (Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber) as well as their wives.

Tune into The Voice on Monday, April 5 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC to see who Shelton will choose to send to The Knockout round.
