Bailey Zimmerman played Santa in a big way for his mom, Kristi, this Christmas, giving her incredible gifts of a new house and a Cadillac Escalade. Zimmerman documented his gift-giving on social media, sharing his mom’s excited reactions to her son’s generosity.

The country star shared the moment with fans in two videos, with the first clip beginning with Zimmerman driving his mom to a surprise stop. Text overlaid on the video read, “I bought my mom her dream house for Christmas, and I’m taking her there right now” along with a red heart emoji. As they pulled up, Kristi looked at her son and asked him, “For real, why are we here?”

As she stood on the front porch, Zimmerman broke the news to Kristi that she was at her new house. Walking in, her astonishment was clear, and she was visibly excited to discover that the home had a pool. When her son asked her if she loved her new home, she replied, “Do I love it? It’s like being in a movie!”

The singer/songwriter’s grandmother agreed, sharing, “I think it’s awesome,” adding that “the best part” was that the home was right next to hers. “Merry Christmas Momma, you deserve the world and more,” Zimmerman captioned the clip.

In his second social media video, Zimmerman stood in front of his mom’s house and told fans that after revealing that gift to Kristi, he still had one more up his sleeve. “What she doesn’t know is that I got her a brand-new Escalade to go with the new house!” he said. “Let’s give my mom a new Escalade. I love you mom, let’s go!”

Kristi was already shocked when her son told her he got her another present in addition to the house, and when he held up a set of car keys, she was visibly overwhelmed, beginning to tear up as the garage door opened to reveal her new car. Still emotional, she climbed into the driver’s seat as Zimmerman declared, “Mama got a new Cadillac.”

“Mama is like, floored,” she said. Zimmerman finished the video with a clip of himself and his mom, telling her, “Merry Christmas, I love you.”

Zimmerman captioned the clip, “My mom gave me everything growing up so now it’s my turn to do the same… MERRY CHRISTMAS MOM.🥹❤️”

The 25-year-old shot to fame in 2021 after a clip of him singing his early track “Never Comin’ Home” went viral on TikTok. To record the song, Zimmerman turned to Kristi, asking her for $1,500 to do so at a studio in Nashville before resigning from his job at his stepbrother’s welding business. “I said mom I quit, but I wrote this song. I need $1500 bucks to record it,” Zimmerman told the Daily Telegraph in 2023.

Kristi’s investment turned out to be a success, as Zimmerman quickly became one of country music’s hottest rising stars. He released his debut album, Religiously. The Album., in 2023, and the project spawned three No. 1 singles and was the biggest country and all-genre debut on streaming that year. In August, he released his sophomore effort, Different Night Same Rodeo, and will support the project with a headline tour next year.
