Backstreet Boys are gearing up for their 21-show Into The Millennium Las Vegas residency at the Sphere, kicking off Friday, July 11. The best-selling boy band in history will become the first pop act, and first boy band, to perform at the state-of-the-art 17,600 seat venue, located at 255 Sands Ave in Las Vegas, Nevada.

To get fans excited, the five-time GRAMMY-nominated group is teasing fans with a 24-song set list (featuring songs they haven’t played live in years), a jaw-dropping, one-of-a-kind production and a show unlike anything Backstreet Boys have ever done before.

The award-winning boy band, comprised of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, shared that fans can expect an unforgettable show packed with every song from their iconic Millennium album, along with their greatest hits such as “I Want It That Way,” “Larger Than Life,” “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and even a brand-new song, titled “HEY.”

“You will hear the entire Millennium album, plus some of our greatest hits, and a few of our personal favorites, as well as the new single, but to do it in this particular venue… when we released Millennium it was ’99 going into 2000, it was like this futuristic experience, Y2K, and all these things,” McLean revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “This is the most state-of-the-art futuristic venue there is in the world, it’s the only one of its kind. So, to be the first pop act to be in this venue is iconic. We’re going to make some incredible memories.”

According to AJ McLean, The Backstreet Boys’ Sphere set list will feature 24 songs, including a few medleys and surprises, like a song they haven’t played live since their 2008–2009 Unbreakable Tour. “There’s about 24 songs in the show, so… there’s some medleys too, otherwise it’d be a four-hour show, and we’d be dead,” McLean teased in an interview with Billboard at the 2025 iHeartRadio Awards.

“There is one song in particular that will surprise fans that we haven’t done live since the Unbreakable tour,” McLean told Hello Magazine in a recent interview. “We did it on Never Gone with Kevin, and then we did it again on Unbreakable with just the four of us, but we haven’t done it since then.”

With the help of the Sphere’s stunning visuals and immersive sound technology, powered by HOLOPLOT, the Backstreet Boys will be able to bring their music to life in a whole new way unlike anything they’ve ever done before. The Sphere features 167,000 precision-tuned speakers, a fully immersive visual experience with 171 million pixels on a 160,000-square-foot wraparound screen, and 4D technologies, including haptic seating, delivering a next-level, memorable concert experience.

In terms of production, AJ McLean hinted one moment in the show that will be “very cold and very intense” that will stun attendees. “There is something that will be very cold and very intense. That’s all I can say,” McLean told Billboard.

“The stage… The whole production is just totally different… I mean, we’re talking about a screen behind us that’s about 350-feet tall and the surround sound speakers are something like 168,000 speakers in the whole place. Just the production within itself,” Howie Dorough admitted to Parade Magazine.

Of the production value, Kevin Richardson gushed to Entertainment Tonight, “Any content you create for the Sphere is in 16k. There’s 167,000 speakers in the venue, so it’s the most badass PA system you’ve ever experienced. The screen is immersive visually and sonically. We can literally take the audience anywhere we want to take them.”

Backstreet Boys are requesting that fans wear all white ensembles or Millennium blue. “AJ in an interview did mention for everybody to wear all white, but wear whatever you want to wear,” Richardson shared with Country Now. “You want to wear Millennium white or Millennium blue, that powder baby blue kind of Carolina blue we had on our album cover… bring it all out, we’re going to have a party and take ya back!”
