Ashley McBryde will soon make her return to the stage after time off the road for personal reasons.
The “Girl Goin’ Nowhere” singer took to social media on Wednesday afternoon (July 13) to share a statement, giving fans an update after her hiatus from the spotlight.
In a “message from Ashley,” McBryde explained that she will be returning to the stage this weekend for her already scheduled tour dates.
“I’ll be back on the road this weekend and am so excited to see you all!” her statement began.
McBryde then thanked fans for staying by her side and revealed that she didn’t think she would need this much time off.
”I didn’t anticipate having to take time away. However, It was something that could not be avoided. More on that someday. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support. Now back to business, a little spackle, a little sparkle… See you this weekend Trybe!”
The news comes just weeks after “Team Ashley” issued a statement regarding McBryde’s absence from recent shows, appearances, and social media on Tuesday, June 28.
“Thank you all for the well wishes. For personal reasons, Ashley will not be performing for a few weeks,” the statement read. “We will share more details regarding when she will be back on the road as soon as they become available, but she wants you to know that she loves you all and misses you and will be back soon stronger than ever!”
In mid-June, fans noticed McBryde hadn’t been active on social media and canceled numerous tour dates, including a performance at Old Settlers Days Festival, 33rd Annual Rib Fest, and shows with Dierks Bentley.
McBryde’s last public appearance was during the final night of CMA Fest, where she joined Elle King to sing “Ex’s And Oh’s” as well as an energy-filled rendition of a Charles Daniels’ hit.
The country hitmaker’s next scheduled tour date is on Thursday, July 14 at Credit One Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina with Dierks Bentley and Travis Denning on the Beers On Me Tour.
