Is Eric Church teasing a massive show with Morgan Wallen in the near future? Fans seem to think so!

The country superstars took to social media on Tuesday morning and their banter back and forth to each other sent fans into a frenzy.

“Hey Morgan Wallen, this was a good time. We should do it again soon,” Church wrote alongside a photo of the pair’s surprise performance in Philadelphia, PA in October of 2021.

Wallen was quick to respond to his longtime friend and musical hero via Instagram stories, writing, “I’d personally be just fine with this bub.”

Wallen also commented on Church’s initial post by simply writing “IN.”

Fans flocked to the post to share their excitement over the possible on stage collaboration.

“This would be INSANE,” wrote one fan, while another commented, “When and where??!”

Church’s post raked in hundreds of comments and nearly 20,000 likes within an hour.

Excited fans also rushed to Twitter to place their bets on what Church and Wallen have up their sleeves. Some internet detectives believe the superstars are planning a show together in Minnesota, while others are begging Wallen and Church to surprise at one of each other’s upcoming concerts.

Recently, while Wallen serving as the co-host of Country Countdown USA alongside Lon Helton, Wallen reflected on he and Church’s friendship and how Church went from being his “musical hero” to his “actual friend.”

“We started hanging out then, I don’t know, we just became buddies. I guess we kind of have a similar attitude or whatever it is,” the East Tennessee native explained to Helton. “I know he doesn’t publicly come out and have a lot of buddies and he’s always been my country music hero; he’s one of the main reasons that I sing country music.”

Wallen continued to explain how Church inspired him to launch a career in Country music.

“When I first started getting heavily into country music, it was his songwriting and the way he painted the pictures that made me want to do the same,” Wallen said.

“So it’s really cool to consider him an actual friend now,” Wallen admitted. “I’ve always admired him.”

The “Sand In My Boots” singer also shared that he cannot believe that he was able to share the stage with Church during the Philadelphia date of his sold-out Gather Again Tour.

“It’s unreal to me to think about that 20-year-old kid… being so in tune with what he was doing, so fired up. It’s pretty crazy to think seven years later I’m up there on that same stage with him and getting to share those moments with him. I think he knows, I hope he knows how much that meant to me,” he added.

While fans anticipate a potential co-headlining concert in the near future, Church and Wallen are already scheduled to perform as headliners at Faster Horses Festival this summer in Michigan.
