Hunter Metts is coming to Nashville and is teasing some new tunes on social media!

The American Idol alum announced the exciting news via social media on Thursday (Sept. 30), where he revealed that he will be performing in Nashville, Tennessee for the first-time ever in mid-October.

The rising star’s concert, brought to you by Affinity Nashville, will take place at 3rd & Lindsley on October 14 at 7 p.m. Walker Burroughs and Shannon Lauren Callihan will serve as support on the show.

“SO excited to announce my first show EVER in NASHVILLE!!!!” Metts captioned a photo that advertised the upcoming concert. “Can’t wait to share the stage with the wonderful @walkerburroughs and @shannonlaurencallihan.”

In addition to announcing a Nashville concert, Metts teased a new song on Instagram as well.

On Tuesday (Sept. 28), the Tennessee native shared a song that he has been writing on Instagram. In a recently released clip, captioned “a song I’ve been writing(:,” Metts is seen singing an unreleased new song while playing an acoustic guitar, while also displaying his signature vocal abilities.

In addition to teasing new music, Metts recently shared that he finished his debut record, and it is currently being “finalized.”

Additionally, Metts will be hitting the road with fellow American Idol alum Francisco Martin throughout October and November.
