Alan Jackson shared a rare family photo in honor of Father’s Day, and fans flocked to the comments section to gush over the country music icon’s “beautiful family.”

Jackson, a father of three, shared the new family snapshot alongside the caption, “Happy Father’s Day to all of the wonderful dads out there!”

A Rare Family Photo

The image showcases Jackson, his wife, Denise, and their daughters, Mattie, Alexandra, and Dani Grace.

The comments section was filled with sweet comments from fans, who wished the “Chattahoochee” singer a Happy Father’s Day.

“Happy Father’s Day Mr Jackson you have a beautiful family 😍😍,” one user wrote, while another shared, “That’s a great picture Alan. Happy Father’s Day to you!!😘🥰”

Alan Jackson’s Daughter Mattie Got Married To Her Husband Conner Smith

While Jackson didn’t specify where the photo was taken, it appears that it was captured at an event leading up to Mattie’s recent wedding, which took place at The Breakers Palm Beach in Florida in May.

Mattie married Conner Smith and announced their nuptials on social media alongside the first photo of the bride and groom.

“Wooooo we did it!! Grateful is a gigantic understatement. More pretty pics to come later – off to the islands with my HUSBAND! 💕 🥳 🏝️ 🥂 🙌🏻,” she wrote.

Since then, Mattie gave her followers another look inside her wedding with a slideshow on Instagram that showcased scenes from their lavish wedding. The post included stunning shots of the venue and precious family photos, including pictures of Mattie getting ready alongside her mom and sisters, and her father/daughter dance with Jackson.

Father’s Day Message

To celebrate Father’s Day, Mattie also shared additional snapshots from her wedding day alongside a sweet message for Alan Jackson.

“To the greatest Daddo @officialalanjackson and all the other dads out there – a big Happy Father’s Day,” she began.

She then recalled a conversation with her husband about their future children.

“I told Connor recently that I hoped we’d have a little girl one day. Obviously because I’d love it, but mostly because I truly believe a dad is gifted more power and potential to build confidence and dreams and desires into a daughter’s life than anyone else,” she wrote. “What a responsibility and a privilege.”

Before closing her post, Mattie wrote, “Among the endless things he’s done for us girls, Dad always made me believe I could do anything, be anything. I’ve very seldom doubted that in my life and for that, I am forever thankful. Love you AJ. 😘”

Lemons On Friday

Mattie and Alan Jackson recently joined forces to write a new song, “Racing The Dark,” which was released alongside Mattie’s first book, Lemons on Friday.

The book was written by Mattie following the tragic and untimely death of her first husband, Ben Selecman, who lost his life in 2018 after suffering a head injury after falling on a boat dock near West Palm Beach, Florida.

At the time of his death, Mattie and Ben had been married less than one year. He was only 28 years old.

“My greatest hope in sharing my grief and story with the world is that anyone who is struggling, regardless the circumstances, will be reminded that no heartbreak or loss is unredeemable; that by confidently clinging to hope, we can truly heal,” Mattie previously shared.

Lemons on Friday also features a foreword by Alan and wife Denise Jackson, who happens to be a New York Times best-selling author herself. In the foreword, Alan and Denise share Mattie’s story from their perspective as well as their renewed hope for her as she continues to grieve.

Jackson Has Remained Out Of The Spotlight

Alan Jackson has remained mostly out of the spotlight after wrapping his Last Call: One More For The Road Tour.

The tour marked Jackson’s first outing since revealing he was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disorder in the fall of 2021.

“I’ve always admired my heroes like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and Charley Pride who just played as much as they wanted to, as long as they could,” Alan Jackson previously shared. “I’ve always thought I’d like to do that, and I’d like to as long as my health will allow,” he notes, adding with a smile, “I’ll try to do as much as I can, but if I’m comin’ your way, come see me…”

Last Fall, Jackson made an appearance at the CMA Awards where he was presented with the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award and honored with a star-studded tribute performance.
