Alan Jackson loves being out on the water just as much as he loves country music.
The legendary country artist, 64, has an impressive collection of boats, and fans have gotten a glimpse of him using his boats in his music videos for songs like 1993’s “Chattahoochee,” 2002’s “Drive (For Daddy Gene),” and his 2003 collaboration “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” with Jimmy Buffett.
The latter of the three music videos finds Jackson playing his guitar in the opening scene while relaxing mid-summer on a massive Hullbilly yacht.
Now, a new luxury cruiser just like it may just find its way to a new home as Jackson has listed the stunning top-of-the-line sport fishing yacht for sale. (His 75-foot version, with a top speed of 57 mph, reportedly sold to a charter fishing company in The Bahamas).
The Yacht Appears In Several Of Alan Jackson’s Iconic Music Videos
Selling The Yacht For $8.2 Million
According to Northrop & Johnson, the yacht was built by Merritt and is priced at a whopping $8.2 million. The buyer with that budget will not only receive a piece of music royalty, but also plenty of space for parties, guests, and fun on the water. The cold-molded boat is a little over 68 feet long and “built for a very knowledgeable owner,” per the website’s description.
There are four cabins within the boat, which include a spacious living room area, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and a beautiful Linda Ashley interior. Aside from the interior space of the yacht, the Hullbilly has only been used for 146 hours and includes plenty of fishing rods for the avid deep-sea fisherman or woman.
While in Jackson’s hands, the Hullbilly made its way to shore following a sea trial, which can be seen in the Instagram clip below.
“The new 67’ Hullbilly coming back in after her Sea Trial,” a caption reads alongside the post, which showcased the boat with the iconic Hullbilly name spread across the back.

Another picture of the sport fishing machine shows a side view of the white and tan boat’s exterior as Jackson’s song “Country Boy” plays on in the background.
“A few more clips from the new HULLBILLY (Alan Jackson’s new 67’ Merritt),” the caption reads alongside a list of hashtags, including #boats #alanjackson #sportfish#sportfisher #customboats#customboat #sportfishingboat.
As previously shared, Jackson is no stranger to fetching boats. His love for watercraft began as a child when his dad taught him to steer a 75 Johnson boat – a story that can be heard in his song “Drive (For Daddy Gene).”
Since then, Jackson has racked up a collection that includes a 26-foot Hickman Wooden Boat Works Gentleman’s Racer model, given the custom name “Hoochie Coochie,” a fully-restored 1955 29-foot “Flat Top” Chris-Craft Semi-Enclosed boat, and three Merritt sport fishing boats all various sizes — a 75 footer, a 45 footer, and a 60 footer.
Celebrated Father’s Day With His Family
All yachts aside, the Country Music Hall of Famer, who has been battling Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disorder, recently celebrated Father’s Day with his family. Jackson shared an image on Instagram featuring him posing alongside his wife, Denise, and their daughters, Mattie, Alexandra, and Dani Grace.
“Happy Father’s Day to all of the wonderful dads out there!” Jackson wrote, alongside the rare family photo.
And in May, the country crooner walked his daughter Mattie down the aisle as she married her husband, Conner Smith.
“To the greatest Daddo @officialalanjackson and all the other dads out there – a big Happy Fathers Day,” Mattie wrote on her Instagram page, alongside images including one featuring her and Jackson walking side by side. “I told Connor recently that I hoped we’d have a little girl one day. Obviously, because I’d love it, but mostly because I truly believe a dad is gifted more power and potential to build confidence, and dreams and desires into a daughter’s life than anyone else. What a responsibility and a privilege. Among the endless things he’s done for us girls, Dad always made me believe I could do anything, be anything. I’ve very seldom doubted that in my life, and for that, I am forever thankful. Love you AJ 😘.”
Alan Jackson Has Mostly Remained Out Of The Spotlight
Additionally, Alan Jackson has remained mostly out of the spotlight after wrapping his Last Call: One More For The Road Tour. The tour marked Jackson’s first outing since revealing he was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disorder in the fall of 2021.
“I’ve always admired my heroes like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and Charley Pride who just played as much as they wanted to, as long as they could,” Alan Jackson previously shared. “I’ve always thought I’d like to do that, and I’d like to as long as my health will allow,” he notes, adding with a smile, “I’ll try to do as much as I can, but if I’m comin’ your way, come see me…
Last Fall, Jackson made an appearance at the CMA Awards where he was presented with the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award and honored with a star-studded tribute performance.
