A Day To Remember’s drummer, Alex Shelnutt, announced that he and his wife, Lyndy H. Speidel, are expecting their first child together in August 2021.

The couple made the announcement via an Instagram post on Shelnutt’s account saying “Baby Nutt confirmed. Coming August ‘21,” alongside some photos of him and his wife and their dogs. One of the photos included was a photoshopped sonogram that included a peanut, playing off their last name.

Baby Shelnutt will be the fourth baby welcomed into the A Day To Remember band camp following the birth of Neil Westfall’s daughter in January 2021 and Joshua Woodard‘s daughter in August 2020 and Jeremy McKinnon daughter in December 2017.

Shelnutt and Lyndy wedded back in September 2020. A Day To Remember are expected to released their much-anticipated new album, You’re Welcome, next month.
