2024 CMA Awards: Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson And Chris Stapleton Lead Nominations

The 58th Annual CMA Awards will air LIVE from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 20 at 8/7c via ABC.

Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton are among the most-nominated artists at the 2024 CMA Awards. On Monday morning (Sept. 2), the Country Music Association (CMA) revealed the full list of nominees.

Wallen leads the pack with seven nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year (“I Had Some Help”), Song of the Year (“I Had Some Help”), Male Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year (“I Had Some Help”), Musical Event of the Year (“Man Made A Bar”) and Music Video of the Year (“I Had Some Help”). With these nominations, Wallen earned his third consecutive nod in both Entertainer Of The Year and Male Vocalist of The Year categories. They also bring his career nominations to a total of 15 nominations since he score his first nod in 2019.

Johnson follows Wallen with five nods, including Single of the Year (“Dirt Cheap”), Album of the Year (Leather), Male Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year (“Dirt Cheap”), Music Video of the Year (“The Painter”). Stapleton, who has a career total of 39 total nods since 2015, is up for five awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year (“White Horse”), Album of the Year (Higher), Song of the Year (“White Horse”), and Male Vocalist of the Year.

Post Malone and Lainey Wilson each received four nominations. First-time nominee Post Malone earned four nominations for his chart-topping collaboration “I Had Some Help” featuring Morgan Wallen.

In addition to Post Malone, Andrew Baylis, Louis Bell, Brock Berryhill, Tom Bukovac, Will Bundy, Sean Cook, Benjy Davis, Shawn Everett, Riley Green, Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft, Kat Higgins, Hoskins, Jeff Johnson, Noah Kahan, Ella Langley, Ryan Larkins, Raul Lopez, Josh Phillips, Nevin Sastry, Shaboozey, Ernest Keith Smith, Nate Smith, Konrad Snyder, Mitchell Tenpenny, The Red Clay Strays, Zach Top, Chris Villa, Chandler Paul Walters and Bailey Zimmerman are all also first-time nominees.

Reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year and two-time Female Vocalist Lainey Wilson is up for Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year (“Watermelon Moonshine”), Female Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year (“Wildflowers and Wild Horses”). With these nominations, she is not only among the most-nominated artists, but she is the leading female nominee.

Louis Bell, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Hoskins, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney and Kacey Musgraves scored three nominations each. See the full list of nominees below.

The 58th Annual CMA Awards will take place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 20 at 8/7c. Country Music’s Biggest Night will air LIVE on ABC and the next day on Hulu.
