Walker County made their TV debut with a performance of their upbeat summer anthem “Bits And Pieces” on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

On Monday, May 3, the rising duo gave the live debut of their latest radio single during the popular Emmy-award winning talk show.

“Now making their TV debut, lets welcome sisters Ivy Dene and Sophie Dawn Walker also known as Walker County,” Clarkson said, introducing the Warner Music Nashville signees. “So, this is your TV debut, I’m so honored that it’s mine. I love the harmonies. There is nothing cooler than seeing a girl on guitar and a girl on drums.”

Ahead of their performance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the duo of sisters shared covers of some of Clarkson’s biggest hits including “Because Of You” and “My Life Would Suck Without You.”

“As a singer, Kelly is someone I’ve looked up to for years!” Ivy gushed over Clarkson. “Her voice is so strong and powerful. Sophie and I have been fans for as long as we can remember – we used to sing ‘Because of You’ in talent contests! We’re so honored to have our TV debut on her show.” Sophie later added, “I still remember when Ivy and I used to stay up past our bedtimes to watch Kelly on American Idol. She is such an amazing artist, and we are thrilled to rock out on her stage!”

Additionally, Clarkson originally found Walker County on social media back in September 2020 and instantly fell in love with their flawless harmonies. So much so that she took to Twitter to praise them and urge her followers to check them out.

“So I just went down the YouTube rabbit hole with @WalkerCounty and I am in love with these sisters!” Clarkson tweeted. “Beautiful voices and harmonies! Y’all have to check them out! Thanks @StarletonEnt for turning me on to them.”
