Fans are getting a first look at the upcoming season of Big Sky, thanks to Reba McEntire.

McEntire, who signed on to appear on Season 3 of the hit show as a series regular, voices the just-released trailer.

“Welcome to Montana, a place where the horizon never ends, full of friendly folk, just trying to do right. But in the untamed wilderness, you never know what’s gonna be coming around the bend. One thing’s for certain, once you set foot in this place, you may never want to go home again. And you might not,” McEntire says.

The mystifying clip showcases scenes from the upcoming season, which has been dubbed “Deadly Trails.”

“You never know what’s coming around the bend. A new mystery begins in the season premiere of #BigSky: Deadly Trails, September 21 on ABC,” the country music icon captioned the clip.

According to Entertainment Weekly, McEntire will portray the role of the character Sunny Brick, a “successful backcountry outfitter with a secret history of missing customers.”

Reba McEntire is no stranger to television. She starred in her very own sitcom, Reba, for six seasons and later appeared in Malibu Country, Baby Daddy, Last Man Standing, and Young Sheldon.

McEntire has also appeared in movies such as Tremors and The Little Rascals and voiced characters for Charlotte’s Web, The Land Before Time XIV, PJ Masks, and more.

The Country Music Hall of Fame member’s casting in Big Sky comes after Jensen Ackles was added to the show as a series regular and Jamie-Lynn Sigler would make her return for Season 3.

Big Sky is based on “The Highway” book series by C.J. Box and stars Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury. The show follows a pair of private detectives (Winnick and Bunbury) as they investigate local crimes involving missing women, stolen drugs and money and more.
