Warner Music Nashville artist Randall King brings a signature two-step to one of the last true honky tonks in Middle Tennessee in his new music video for fan-favorite track “You In A Honky Tonk” from his 2022 project, Shot Glass.
Director Brooke Greenberg and producers Bart Butler and Ryan Gore brought the hit song to life at Cahoots Dancehall & Honkytonk in Lebanon, TN — a location that holds a special place in King’s heart as it is the home of the singer’s first headlining performance in Tennessee.
“In West Texas, if you don’t keep ‘em on the dance floor you aren’t doing your job,” King shared of the early days of his career where he played for tips as he grew his touring base. “When I booked my first headlining gig in Tennessee, I couldn’t believe we pre-sold-out Cahoots Dancehall & Honkytonk.”
He continued, “It’s kinda become a tradition to bring these songs to life there just like I remember that first night on their stage. First with our ‘Record High’ music video, and now, with a song named ‘You In A Honky Tonk,’ you have to go to a real honkytonk for the video.”
Written by John King, Matt Rogers and Brandon Day, “You In A Honky Tonk” has amazed millions of streams since its release in 2022, and King gives credit for a portion of the song’s success to Lonestar Tequila Bar’s original line dance he created and posted on TikTok that sparked tens of thousands of videos with the song.

King and his team pulled out all of the stops for the special music video, and even flew out the fans that partook in the viral dance trend to dance in the spunky video.
“Naturally when it came time to shoot the music video, we had to have the ‘You In A Honky Tonk Two Step’ featured,” King boasts, “and who better to star in this than the ones who made it famous!”
