Morgan Wallen & Brooks & Dunn’s Ronnie Dunn Perform Two Songs Together In March 2022

Earlier this year, Brooks & Dunn’s Ronnie Dunn joined Wallen on stage to perform a few songs with him in Nashville.

In the midst of the country hitmaker’s electrifying 26-song set at Bridgestone Arena in March of 2022, Wallen welcomed Dunn to the stage to perform, “Talkin’ Tennessee,” a track from his 2018 debut album, If I Know Me. Their collaborative performance marked Wallen’s first-time playing the song on his sold-out Dangerous Tour.

Wallen, wearing a mustard yellow button-up shirt and jeans, began singing the song by himself before shocking the crowd when Dunn entered the stage.

After their performance of “Talkin’ Tennessee,” Wallen asked Dunn, “wanna sing another one, Ronnie?” before duetting on Brooks & Dunn’s 1992 classic hit, “Neon Moon,” which prompted a massive sing-a-long.”

During the superstars’ performance of “Neon Moon,” Dunn strummed the guitar while singing the opening notes before trading verses with Wallen and then joining forces for an epic ending of the classic country tune.

“So much appreciation to @morganwallen and his generosity for allowing me to crash his stage last night. His kind of talent comes along only once in a blue moon!!!!” Dunn wrote on Instagram following the show.

Ronnie Dunn Previously Praised Wallen On His SiriusXM Radio Show

Dunn previously praised Wallen during SiriusXM’s Ronnie Dunn’s Road Trip. During a July episode of the radio talk show, Dunn gushed over Wallen after playing his song “Talkin’ Tennessee,” a track that was co-written by Wallen alongside Jeff Hyde and Craig Wiseman.

“You just heard Morgan Wallen and trust me, the kid’s one of the most talented, promising singer/songwriters that’s come along in a long time,” Dunn said, applauding Wallen talents. “That’s Morgan singing ‘Talkin’ Tennessee.’”

The “Wasted On You” singer is currently in the midst of his massive The Dangerous Tour in support of his record-breaking sophomore project, Dangerous: The Double Album. The tour, which is the biggest country tour of 2022 and runs through October, recently sold-out with over 800,000 tickets sold, according Up2DateCountry on Instagram.

In addition to HARDY and Larry Fleet, the country hitmaker recently added Lainey Wilson, Kameron Marlowe, Chase Rice, Ian Munsick, and ERNEST to his sold-out tour lineup.

The singer also announced his first-ever Stadium show in Arlington, Texas, at Globe Life Field on October 8, 2022, with special guests HARDY, Mike Ryan and Jake Worthington.
