Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Brown slow shared a sweet dance during Brown’s headlining performance on Wednesday (Mar. 9) at The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Wearing his signature family branded ball cap and a tie-dye shirt, Brown performed his fifth Billboard Country Airplay No. 1, “Homesick,” on the massive RODEOHOUSTON stage, which rotated as the country hitmaker performed.
“I wrote this song just being away from my family, and after I got finished, I was in North Carolina, I was just on the back of my tour bus thinking who else could relate to this song,” Brown said before performing “Homesick.” “First thing that popped into my head was the military being away from their families.”
In the midst of his performance of the touching tune, Brown welcomed his wife, wearing a brown shirt with silver fringe and a black belt emblazoned with the word cowgirl in leopard print, to the stage to share a dance with her. Brown took his wife by the hand as she entered the stage before wrapping his arm around her to sway along to the tune.
As Brown performed “Homesick” in front of 58.588 paid fans in attendance, he twirled Katelyn and danced with her and shared a kiss before she exited the stage.
“I’ll dance with you anywhere @kanebrown_music,” Brown’s wife wrote in her Instagram with a clip from their sweet dance.
During Brown’s Houston Rodeo performance he also performed tracks such as the unreleased “Riot,” “Like A Rodeo,” “One Mississippi,” “Be Like That,” “Short Skirt Weather,” “Heaven,” “Worship You,” among many other fan-favorite hits.
