Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Kelly Clarkson shared an intimate duet during The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Earlier this week, the Coldplay frontman and Clarkson performed an acoustic duet of Coldplay’s “Green Eyes” at the request of Clarkson as she admitted it is one of her favorite Coldplay songs.

“I was looking for a song my dad might like,” Martin said before singing an acoustic rendition of the Coldplay tune.

“I’m your dad, I love it,” Clarkson gushed before she performed her chart-topping single “Since U Been Gone” with Martin, in the form of an acoustic duet.

During the show, Martin and Clarkson also put their own unique spin on Ginuwine’s “Pony” and Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”

Watch the acoustic duets in the below clip from The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Additionally, Clarkson’s children, 5-year-old Remington and 7-year-old River also appeared during the episode with Martin. Clarkson admitted that “Yellow” is not only her favorite song from Coldplay but also her daughter’s favorite, they welcomed her children to the stage to meet Martin.

“Can we play together, is that possible?” Martin asked Clarkson and her children, which her son Remington quickly replied, “I’m a little nervous.”

“I’m nervous too, man,” Martin said as Remington sat down beside him and River sat beside her mom. “I get nervous too on TV, of course we’re nervous. Look how well-dressed you are though, man. You look great.”

In the midst of the performance, Remington proclaimed that he had to “go to the bathroom,” which Clarkson thought was hysterical and couldn’t stop laughing.

“I need to too, but I’m holding it,” Remington’s sister River added.

The comical moment, which you can watch below, was a highlight of the episode.
