Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard shared the cutest video of his daughter, Liv, reacting to a new song he wrote about her.
The country superstar is seen laying in bed beside his daughter in their pajamas as he played her a new song entitled “Thank God For Little Girls,” that he wrote with a few friends for her during quarantine.
“I thank God for Country Music, I thank God for this guitar, I thank God for every friend I got and the fireflies in the dark but there’s nothing like the angel that came into my World and says I love you daddy, Thank God for little girls,” Hubbard sings in the chorus of the song.
Hubbard then sings in a verse: “yeah now a days I hurry home and run right up the stairs, just in time to watch her fold her hands and say them bedtime prayers, she thanks the lord for mom and dad and grandma back at home. Yeah she’s got her whole list memorized and I memorized my own.”
“This is one of my favorite moments with her so far. I’m not crying…..You’re crying,” the Florida Georgia Line singer captioned the Hayley Hubbard-filmed clip.
His daughter Liv’s reaction to the track is the cutest thing you will ever hear as she said “I like that song for me, I’m gonna keep it so much” with a big smile on her face before adding that she’s going to keep it “forever and ever.”
The new track is co-written by Hubbard alongside Lori McKenna and Dave Barnes. Hubbard did not share if or when the song will be released.
The video comes just days after his return home following a 13-day quarantine due to Hubbard testing positive for the novel COVID-19.
