Trisha Yearwood is great cook as we see daily on her Food Network cooking show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, and the multiple cookbooks she’s released but did you know that Garth Brooks is too?

In an interview with Taste of Country Nights, Yearwood admitted that Brooks is “actually a pretty cook” and she says that Brooks has “no trouble” letting her know if she needs to “change something about a recipe.”

The country superstar recalled making some homemade biscuits with her dad’s recipe: “Like, I was making homemade biscuits last night — my dad’s recipe. And I said, ‘Could you get those out of the oven for me?’ And he was like, ‘I just don’t think they’re quite ready. I think they need to stay in for a couple for minutes.’”

“I was like, ‘What do you know?’ And he was actually right,” she explained.

Brooks explained that he thinks he learned a thing or two from the many years of being the “taste tester” for Yearwood’s tasty dishes.

“Let’s face it, who’s the eater? That’s the one that knows their stuff, is the eater,” Brooks joked.

With the holidays rapidly approaching, I am sure the Brooks/Yearwood household will be crafting up some delicious meals and baked goods. Who do you think is the better cook Yearwood or Brooks?
