Thomas Rhett was featured alongside Florida Georgia Line in a song called “Thank You Lord” on Christian singer Chris Tomlin’s latest album which also included collaborations with Lady A, Brett Young, Florida Georgia Line and more. Rhett co-wrote and sings on two of the tracks on the new record.

“Thank You Lord” is a song about being grateful and as we approach Thanksgiving this coming week, the country superstar is thinking about what he will be thanking the Lord for this holiday season. After being asked if he had to rephrase the single’s lyrics, he says he would thank the Lord for his family, his life and his kids.

“If I had to re-phrase ‘Thank You Lord,’ it would definitely be ‘Thank you Lord for my family,” explained Rhett. “Thank you Lord for my kids and this life that you’ve blessed us with because it’s been such a crazy ride and I think without my family, I really don’t know where I would be.”

The song was co-written by Rhett alongside Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Corey Crowder, a couple of years ago and when they were working on the Tomlin record, they thought this would be the perfect addition and so did Chris Tomlin.

Rhett just unleashed a new single called “What’s Your Country Song?” which you can stream now HERE. He and his wife Lauren Akins will also be hosting the upcoming CMA Country Christmas on Monday, November 30 on ABC at 9 p.m. EST.
