Brett Young is celebrating his 41st Birthday today!
On Wednesday (Mar. 23), the country superstar’s wife, Taylor Mills Young, took to social media to celebrate Young’s 41st birthday with a heartfelt message to the “You Didn’t” singer.
“Happiest birthday to my best friend!!!” Taylor wrote. “You age like fine Tennessee Whiskey! Here’s a picture of us when we were a bit younger, looked much more rested (pre-babies) and were a little bit more carefree (again, pre-parenthood.)”
The mother of two went on to gush over his high-spirited personality and his songwriting abilities.
“But man, am I so grateful to go through each season of life with you because each year gets better and better!” Taylor continued to share. “You are incredibly loyal to those you love, you are absolutely hilarious/goofy/weird, the most fun BFF, the best father (the way you love on our girls and are present is everything), the most handsome human on the planet, the most athletic person I know, are so smart (which can be pretty annoying because you never forget anythinnng and always “win,”) and are really good at making people cry. (the way you write music is just next level.)”
She concluded, “You are so special in every way. I love you BY!”
The beloved couple share two daughters, Rowan Marie Young, 8 months, and Presley Elizabeth Young, 2.
Young’s wife recently appeared in his latest music video for his single, “You Didn’t,” which you can watch below. Co-written by Young alongside Jimmy Robbins, Jon Nite and Ashley Gorley, “You Didn’t” appears on his latest album, Weekends Look a Little Different These Days.
Brett and Taylor first met over 10 years ago. After dating for several years, the couple broke it off when Young moved to Nashville to pursue a country music career. After a two-year break, they reconnected and have been together ever since.
They got engaged in February of 2018 and tied the knot in November of that same year, however, Mills recently revealed that they were officially married a few months prior to their big California wedding.
