Tanya Tucker issued a statement updating fans on her emergency surgery.

On Thursday (July 15), the Grammy-award winning country superstar shared an update with fans letting them know that she’s doing well following her emergency surgery and is on track for a speedy recovery.

“Hey Loves, My hip has been giving me hell for awhile now and the docs discovered a hip fracture,” Tucker shared in a statement. “I had to have surgery right away. The operation went well and I’m on track for a speedy recovery. I’ll be at home healing for a few weeks, but can’t wait to get back out and see you as soon as I can. I LOVE y’all and a bad hip can’t keep me down!”

The statement concluded, “Love, Tanya ❤️🌹 We’ll let you know more information when we can.”

The country singer was been forced to cancel all of her upcoming concert appearances for the remainder of July, after being admitted to the hospital for emergency hip replacement surgery on Wednesday (July 15), which her representative said required immediate attention.

“It is with regret that we have to cancel all shows for the remainder of July as Tanya has been admitted to the hospital today for an emergency hip replacement surgery as an MRI has revealed a hip fracture that requires immediate attention. We truly appreciate you,” a representative for Tucker told WDIO

Tucker was scheduled to perform at Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield, WI, this Saturday (July 17), however due to the severity of her injury, she is unable. The festival shared the unfortunate news on their Facebook page, letting fans know that the “Delta Down” singer will no longer be able to perform at the event, however, they did promise fans that they are working closely with her team to reschedule her performance.

We are in the process of working with her team to reschedule the performance for a later date.”

Big Top Chautauqua are offering fans several options for their tickets.
