Shaboozey brought the party to the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards, delivering a high-energy performance of his record-breaking single, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and his latest single, “Good News.”

“Good News”

Donning a Western-themed brown suit, complete with a baby-pink shirt and a bolo tie, the fast-rising country star’s performance kicked off with a snippet of “Good News.”

“I need some good news/ Sittin’ here, sippin’ on cold truth/ Nobody knows what I’m goin’ through/ Bet the devil wouldn’t walk in my shoes,” he sang as he entered the coveted awards show stage. He then seamlessly transitioned into his multi-week chart-topping hit, “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

Joined by a crew of choreographed dancers clad in brown leather chaps, cowboy hats, and boots, Shaboozey celebrated the massive success of “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

“Someone pour me up a double shot of whiskey / They know me and Jack Daniel’s got a history / There’s a party downtown near Fifth Street / Everybody at the bar gettin’ tipsy / Everybody at the bar gettin’ tipsy…” Shaboozey sang in perfect sync with the crowd on the track’s chorus.

He ended his set with a heartfelt shout-out to the City of Angels, shouting, “We love you, LA.” The applause was deafening as Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Rodrigo, and several other big-name stars were spotted on their feet, clapping and singing along to the infectious performance.

Shaboozey’s hit single, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” has been nothing short of a phenomenon since its release on April 12 via American Dogwood/EMPIRE. The track debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and also made a splash at No. 36 on the Hot 100. It topped the Billboard Digital Song Sales and Country Digital Song Sales charts and has amassed hundreds of millions of streams globally.

The song is part of his debut album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, which dropped on May 31, 2024, via EMPIRE. Written by Shaboozey alongside Nevin Sastry, Sean Cook, Jerrell Jones, and Mark Williams, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is just one of the many standout tracks on the album, and with a GRAMMY performance this electrifying, it’s clear that Shaboozey is just getting started.
