Ronnie Dunn of the chart-topping country duo Brooks & Dunn praised Morgan Wallen late last week.

Dunn gushed over Wallen during his Friday (July 16) SiriusXM Prime Country radio talk show, Ronnie Dunn’s Road Trip. He complimented Wallen after playing his song “Talkin’ Tennessee,” a track that was co-written by Wallen alongside Jeff Hyde and Craig Wiseman and appears on Wallen’s 2018 debut album, If I Know Me.

“You just heard Morgan Wallen and trust me, the kid’s one of the most talented, promising singer/songwriters that’s come along in a long time,” Dunn said, applauding Wallen talents. “That’s Morgan singing ‘Talkin’ Tennessee.’”

You can listen to “Talkin’ Tennessee” below.

Earlier this year in early May, Wallen’s manager and partner of Big Loud Seth England shared a photo of himself alongside the “Wasted On You” singer and Dunn.

In the picture, England is seen shoulder to shoulder with Wallen and Dunn in front of the signature Big Loud Records logo in what appears to be the Big Loud offices in Tennessee.

“Two of the very best singers to ever walk music row,” England captioned the photo

The manager later added that the photo adds a check to his bucket list as well as shared that Dunn is the voice that got him into country music while Wallen is the voice that keeps him going. “A bucket list picture I never knew I needed until now,” England shared. “The voice that got me into country music… and the voice that’s keeping me going.”

Additionally, Dunn appeared as a special guest at nationally-syndicated radio host Bobby Bones’ wedding.

He was on hand to perform a Brooks & Dunn classic “Neon Moon,” which made for a special moment of the wedding, according to PEOPLE, as a light-up moon lowered from the ceiling as a surprise for the newlyweds.
