Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have worked hard to get to where they are today, having gone on several tours, released countless albums and singles, and even starred alongside each other in 1883 – a prequel to the popular Yellowstone series on Paramount+.

With that said, there’s no question the two lovebirds and parents of three have raked in quite a bit of dough, which means that although they continue to stay busy, they also get to live a glamorous lifestyle.

And their once Private Island Home in The Bahamas is all the proof folks need to know that to be true.

In 2017, the country music power couple gave fans a glimpse of their lavish Caribbean estate, allowing their massive following to virtually step inside the breathtaking tropical paradise they purchased in 2003, all thanks to a video featured by Architectural Digest

The clip opens up with a large-scale view of the water, which surrounds the couple’s Bahamas retreat as a private airplane makes a smooth landing on the property. McGraw and Hill appear in comfortable loungewear as they enjoy the family-owned private island, which they dubbed “L’île d’Anges.”

6,517 Square-Foot Mansion

On the outside, the stunning 6,517 square-foot mansion on the sprawling vacation spot features bright white tones, matching the natural interior decor of the inside. There’s plenty of openness to let the light shine through and greenery in while guests of McGraw and Hill can enjoy breakfast inside the breezy eating and lounging area. A pool is also included with the four-bedroom home, despite plenty of diving opportunities that surround the oceanside waterfront.

The breathtaking beachside escape, located on a nearly 20-acre private island is, indeed, a spectacular sight to see. But, while every part of the estate screams paradise, the hardworking couple actually built the property and the entire surrounding area from the ground up, as it hadn’t been occupied nor had it had running water when they decided to own it.

“We set out to build a house,” Hill previously told the outlet of the couple’s initial plan. “We had no idea we had to build everything else [and] We basically had to build a little town.”

“You’ve got to have staff houses,” McGraw chimed in. “You’ve got to have infrastructure [and] you’ve got to have water and electricity. You don’t quite put all that together at first.”

“It’s Just Life-Changing”

Despite the huge undertaking, McGraw and Hill were able to accomplish their dream away from reality with the help of McAlpine, an architecture–and–interior design firm, who assisted with bringing their vision to life.

“We wanted to feel connected to the outside,” Hill shared of the estate they finally moved into in 2012. “When the breeze comes through the room. It’s just life-changing. It really is! It’s something for the soul.”

Of course, all good things have to come to an end – even when you’re a celebrity. And, in 2021, McGraw and Hill put their luxurious private island home on the market for a whopping price of $35 million. The listing had been up for less than a year before it got swooped up for an undisclosed price, according to knightfrank.comper a Taste of Country report.

Additionally, McGraw and Hill didn’t indicate why they chose to say goodbye to the property, but there’s no doubt their times spent in The Bahamas have given them plenty of memories to share for years to come.
