The legendary Reba McEntire will celebrate the release of her forthcoming lifestyle book with a special event in Nashville.

Hosted by McEntire’s longtime friend and former Reba co-star, Melissa Peterman, the event, dubbed “Not That Fancy: An Evening with Reba & Friends.” will take place on Sunday, November 5 at 7:30 pm at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium.

The one-night-only event is described as “an evening of stories with Reba at the Mother Church” and each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of Reba’s new book, Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots.

Tickets for “Not That Fancy: An Evening with Reba & Friends” will go on sale starting at 10 am CT on July 14.

The forthcoming book will officially be released on Tuesday, October 10. The lifestyle book is a collection of funny, poignant, and deeply personal stories, photos, tips, and recipes straight from the “Fancy” singer herself.

Not That Fancy includes over 50 recipes, including desserts, meats, sides, and cocktails, from Reba’s family traditions and her restaurant, Reba’s Place, in Atoka, Oklahoma. The book will also include never-before-seen photographs and never-before-told stories from Reba’s personal and professional life. In the book she will share details of ranching with her father, pranks with Brooks & Dunn, falling in love over a plate of tater tots, and more.

She will also share simple, not-that-fancy lifestyle tips, like how to achieve Reba’s signature hairstyle, design a down-to-earth date night, play a mean game of cards, and more.

Garth Brooks wrote the foreword for Not That Fancy.

“Well, the book is a fun book,” she explained during a recent appearance on NBC’s TODAY. “You know, sometimes you have books, autobiographies, that are really diving into stuff. This is just a fun book. You can look through it. You can read it front to back. It’s got recipes, stories, new pictures people haven’t seen before. Talking about my family, my faith, my friends, and then recipes that are from the restaurant in Atoka, OK called Reba’s Place.”

On Friday, October 6, Reba will release a corresponding album titled, Not That Fancy. For the record, Reba joined forces with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb to record stripped-down versions of some of her most iconic songs, including “Consider Me Gone,” “I’m A Survivor,” and “The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia.” The 14-track project will also include the brand-new single, “Seven Minutes In Heaven.”

The news of the book and album come just before Reba McEntire is set to make her debut on NBC’s The Voice as a coach. Reba will be joined by Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan and John Legend on season 24 of the hit show.

Additionally, Reba McEntire is confirmed to appear on The Voice Season 25 alongside Dan + Shay, John Legend, and Chance The Rapper.

According to a recent social media post made by longtime The Voice host, Carson Daly, filming for the upcoming season is already underway. This marks the first season without below coach and country superstar Blake Shelton, who departed the show after an impressive 23-season run.
