Priscilla Block turned heads at the 2025 CMA Awards when she arrived on the red carpet with a very special guest — her longtime boyfriend, Elijah. Though the rising singer/songwriter has kept her relationship low-key for years, the couple officially marked their first public appearance, debuting their romance in front of the cameras on Wednesday (Nov 19) evening before the ceremony.

Block donned a brown dress, while Elijah chose to wear an all black ensemble.

“I can’t believe it. I am bringing him to the CMA Awards, and he’s walking the carpet with me,” Block told Country Now ahead of the show.

The “Good On You” songstress, 30, also joked that she had warned Elijah about the action that he was about to step into on awards show night.

“I don’t know if you’ve ever seen as many lights that you’re going to see on the carpet, but there’s a lot,” she told him, according to the outlet, adding that he told her the experience felt like “going to prom together.”

Block and Elijah first met back in 2016 at a Nashville bar called Crazy Town before it became Miranda Lambert’s branded venue. Block shared the story via three separate TikTok videos, remembering the moment, feeling like love at first sight. In the clip, she shared that, at the time, her friend Kara, whom she shared an apartment with, immediately spotted the spark.

“She was like, ‘I don’t know why you’re trying to act so cool. You were vibing with him. Go out there and get your man,” Block recalled of her and her friend’s conversation.

After a night of obvious chemistry, Elijah accidentally left his wallet at Block’s place — a “classic move,” according to her. The two quickly became inseparable, paving the way for many milestone moments such as meeting his parents at his college graduation and traveling to his hometown in West Tennessee. Block credits Elijah with introducing her to hunting, where she shot her first deer and turkey.

“He was the biggest fan,” she explained, remembering him as the guy who “cheered her on” at local gigs, often tossing $20s into her tip bucket.

After two years of dating, life and timing pushed them apart. Block described their 2018 breakup as a “right person, wrong time” situation that left her heartbroken through “two years of Sad Girl City.” But, fate eventually stepped in as Block eventually ran into Elijah at Loser’s Bar. The unexpected reunion led to a five-hour conversation, and one of Block’s notable tracks, “Just About Over You.”

As Block’s career began a giant shift from eviction notices to record label meetings, Elijah remained and continued to be her rock.

“If you need three months, if you need three years, I will wait for you,” he told her, according to the singer/songwriter.

Block, of course, knew what she wanted. The two reconciled, and Elijah has since become the muse for many songs on her new album, including the one titled “Elijah.”

Block has been known for her bold style moments, but this year’s look proved just as memorable for a whole different reason because Elijah was her official plus-one — a big moment indeed for all after years of private history, heartbreak, and a rekindled romance for the ages.

Block isn’t nominated this year for a CMA award, nor is he scheduled to perform. However, the show is packed with powerhouse performances. Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton, Kenny Chesney, Patty Loveless, Riley Green, Kelsea Ballerini, Brandi Carlile, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, Red Clay Strays, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore, and Stephen Wilson Jr. will all take the stage. The night will also feature dynamic collaborations, including BigXThePlug with Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert with Chris Stapleton, and Shaboozey with Wilson Jr.

Fans can catch the 59th annual CMA Awards, hosted by Lainey Wilson, live tonight from Nashville at 8–11 PM ET on ABC.
