Post Malone is setting the record straight about his health after fans have spotted him exhibiting a noticeable slimmer appearance and speculated that his new image was a result of drug use.

On Friday (April 28), the 27-year-old rapper and producer (whose real name is Austin Post) took some time out of his schedule to settle the rumors that had been swirling around about his health and recent rapid weight loss.

On Instagram, Malone posted a lengthy message to his more than 23M followers, writing, “Hello everybody. I hope you’re having a great night. I wanted to say that I’m not doing drugs. I’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and I’d suppose, performance on stage. I’m having a lot of fun performing and have never felt healthier.”

The “Circles” singer, who – with his fiancée (whose name has not been disclosed) – welcomed a daughter in the summer of 2022, also noted that his slimmer appearance may be due to the fact that he has adopted better food and liquid choices as a way to show his child a healthier way of living and also in hopes to be around for her for years to come.

“I guess dad-life kicked in, and I decided to kick soda and start eating better so I can be around for a long time for this little angel,” Malone shared his decisions, adding that he intends to quit even more bad habits in the future. “Next up is smokes and brews, but I like to consider myself a patient man… lol!”
