Post Malone stripped down to his underwear for the new SKIMS campaign, and he admits it was a “terrifying” experience and something he “never done” before.

In a recent interview with GQ, Post Malone opened up about the experience of becoming a model for the Kim Kardashian-owned clothing and intimates brand.

“They just had me butt-naked in the woods. And that was something different, but it was fun. Well, not full naked… I had Skims on, but it was the first time I’ve ever experienced it. And it was really a lot of fun, it made me feel like a handsome son of a b*tch,” Post Malone said during the discussion, which took place during the SKIMS photoshoot in the “beautiful state of Utah.”

Post Malone confessed that stripping down to his underwear for the shoot was out of his comfort zone. “It’s terrifying for me. I’ve never done anything like that. It’s like a Sasquatch sighting, essentially, is what it feels like. Everyone’s going to call it in to the cops and say, ‘We saw Bigfoot out here.’ Or, Averagefoot. Sorry. It’s just been amazing.”

The “Circles” singer said that while he was uncomfortable, the team and photographer Theo Wenner were an absolute pleasure to work with. “The whole team is sick. Theo is sick and there’s a lot of pine trees, and it is badass. We’re capturing shots, and I can’t stop preaching just about where we are. Can I show you one more time?” Post Malone added.

SKIMS posed Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, in their new Men’s Realtree collection, which features camouflage-print boxer briefs, t-shirts, hoodies, joggers, shorts and more. The Realtree collection that Post Malone is seen modeling in the photos dropped on August 21 and is available to purchase now via Skims.com.

Of the opportunity and how it came to fruition, Post Malone explained, “I suppose I was a Skims man. In Utah, it gets very, very, very cold. And some way or another I found this comfortable robe. Whenever I went out to smoke at night, I would always put this on, and it was probably the most comfortable thing I’ve ever worn in my entire life. From there, it just snowballed out of control to the point [where now] I’m naked in the woods. Well, not naked. But you can’t see the underwear anyways. They’re camouflage.”

“It’s comfortable. It’s really just an amazing deal. I’m really happy and really honored to be a part of this campaign and project,” he also told the outlet.

The 30-year-old Texas native told GQ that his favorite part of the collection is that it’s camouflage. “The camo. I love Realtree camouflage. I love camouflage in general. Some people are passionate about a lot of stuff, like some people build spaceships and stuff, and I just like camouflage and anything that is in that vein. Speaking of, I just did the underwear shot, and that underwear is gangster. It is so soft on my stuff. My special stuff. And they made me a special one-off robe that I’m obsessed with.”

The SKIMS x Realtree collection is nearly sold-out, with only briefs and shorts remaining on the website for sale.
