P!nk gave the live debut of her latest single “All I Know So Far” and in a very special way!
On Thursday, May 13, the pop superstar performed the song on The Ellen Degeneres Show alongside her guitarist Justin Derrico. The performance was very intimate and stripped down with very little production other than subtle back lighting. The singer released the song earlier this month and it’s the title track to her forthcoming live album, which is the same name of her upcoming much-anticipated documentary, All I Know So Far.
“All I Know So Far” is a song that allows the hitmaker’s authenticity to shine while also showcasing strength and perseverance.
P!nk shared a visually stunning, award-worthy music video, that has to be one of the most impressive music videos we’ve watch in a long time. The music video finds the award-winning singer telling her 9-year-old daughter, Willow, a bedtime story that puts P!nk’s life on full display as it includes her and her mom’s rocky relationship, a hilarious take on the ups and downs of her and her husband Carey Hart’s marriage and more. The clip also gives a brutally honest take at some life lessons that she’s learned along the way.
The star-studded video included cameo’s by pop icon Cher, P!nk’s husband Carey Hart and her son Jameson and daughter Willow as well as actress Judith Light.
“All I Know So Far” was produced by Greg Kurstin and co-written by P!nk alongside Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The track will be featured on the superstar’s upcoming live project, All I Know So Far: Setlist, which is set for release on May 21 via RCA Records. In addition to the live album, the Michael Gracey-directed film, P!nk: All I Know So Far, will be available on Amazon Prime Video on May 21.
Additionally, the chart-topping hitmaker is set to receive the Billboard Icon Award at the 2021 BBMAs. The prestigious award “recognizes record-breaking artists who have achieved excellence on the Billboard Charts and have made an impactful mark on music itself.”
P!NK joins previous honorees Cher, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson, Neil Diamond and Garth Brooks.
“As a little girl, I always dreamed about being a singer and sharing my love of music with the world,” P!nk told Billboard. “Years later, to receive the Billboard Music Awards Icon Award is hard to fathom! I feel so honored to join the ranks of music idols like Cher, Garth Brooks, Janet Jackson and Stevie Wonder. It’s a true ‘pinch me’ moment and I feel humbled and blessed.”
