Rising artist William Beckmann got a very special video call from fellow country singer and friend Parker McCollum with news that left the Texas-native speechless: an invitation to make his Grand Ole Opry Debut on March 3!

“Look, last time I was at the Grand Ole Opry here in Nashville, they were asking me who else I thought deserved to get to play there and should get the opportunity to step into the circle, and of course your name was the first one that came to mind,” said McCollum to an unsuspecting Beckmann. “Thinking about your voice — just jaw-dropping voice — at the Grand Ole Opry seemed like it would be a perfect fit. So, I wanted to be the one that got to call you and tell you that on March 3, you’re going to make your Grand Ole Opry debut.”

“Dude, are you serious man? Thank you, man. It’s a dream come true,” a shocked Beckmann responded to the once in a lifetime opportunity.

“When Beckmann first performed for us, we were spellbound by the richness of his vocal and the classic beauty of his songs,” commented Jordan Petit, artist relations and programming strategy at Opry Entertainment Group. “We are excited to see him step onto the Opry stage and join a history where so many vocal giants have performed.”

William Beckmann Will Make His Grand Ole Opry Debut on March 3

“Performing on the Grand Ole Opry stage is every country singer’s dream and I am beyond excited to finally have my chance to play there,” explained Beckmann. “I grew up in a small town in Texas and have so many friends and family who will be coming to cheer me on. To feel the love and support from both the Opry and my hometown is something I am beyond grateful for.”

Beckmann’s debut will come on the heels of his performance at the Texas Independence Day Celebration at the Ryman Auditorium alongside Pat Green and Randy Rogers Band, set for March 2.

This career-altering news finds the singer after a successful 2022 where he sold out nine shows over ten days throughout Texas with his Las Posadas Tour: Hope for Uvalde. The stint raised more than $50,000 for the just keep livin Foundation’s Uvalde Relief Fund founded by Matthew and Camila McConaughey.

“We are grateful to William for his generosity in giving back to Uvalde through his tour,” shared McConaughey. “The money he was able to raise will make a big impact in the services the just keep livin Foundation is providing to this community.”

“Looking back on 2022, the Las Posadas tour is probably what I’ll remember the most.  I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to help a community in need,” added Beckmann.  “Especially when that community is one I know well. I want to thank all the people who helped me organize the tour and of course all the fans who came out to support it.”

“Damn This Heart Of Mine,” Beckmann’s most recent single that was released in September of last year, currently sits within the Texas Radio Charts’ Top 20 and continues to climb.

Fans can look forward to new music from the “Bourbon Whiskey” singer in the near future, as his forthcoming album will drop this spring.
