On Hayley Williams’ 31st Birthday yesterday (Dec. 27), the Paramore frontwoman announced that she will be releasing new music in January that she will call her “own.” Basically telling her fans that she will be releasing her own solo music in a new project coming, releasing the first taste in January 2020, which isn’t that long of a wait.

“Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. 30 was a very important year. 31 will be too,” Hayley Williams wrote in a Tweet.

Continuing to explain, “I’m putting out some music next year. With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I’m going to call my own. It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January. Happy New Year, friends.” See the full Tweet below:

Williams’ is the frontwoman of the highly successful band, Paramore, who hasn’t played a show since 2018. Last releasing an album in 2017 with After Laughter. Not much has been said about the future of the band, Paramore, but it has been clarified that the band did not break up. However, In an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this year, Williams’ did say, “I really don’t know what’s next for Paramore.”
