Nicki Minaj announced on Monday (July 20) that she is going to be a mom. Minaj will be welcoming her first child with her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, later this year.

“#Preggers?,” the rapper captioned her initial photo post holding her baby bump before she posted several more photos captioning the third image: “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.”

Minaj and her husband Petty have been married for nine months. The rapper previously announced that she may retire via Twitter saying, “”I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me … Love you for LIFE.”
