Morgan Wallen performed his latest single “More Than My Hometown” ahead of the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 22.

Wallen’s performance of his chart-topping single was filmed in Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe.

Before his performance, Wallen was interviewed for Xfinity’s Behind The Performance segment on-demand, the country superstar revealed that the first album he ever purchased and the first concert he ever attended, who was a country superstar he loves.

The country singer is up for two nominations at this Sunday’s award show including Favorite Male Artist (Country) and Favorite Country Album (If I Know Me).

Wallen is slated to release his much-anticipated double album, Dangerous, on January 8, 2021. The album will boast of 30 tracks and include his singles “More Than My Hometown,” “7 Summers” and his fan-favorite cover of Jason Isbell’s “Cover Me Up.”

The superstar just released three new songs from the upcoming album on Nov. 20 including “Somebody’s Problem,” “Still Goin Down” and “Livin’ The Dream.” The album pre-order is available now.

The 2020 AMAs will air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 22, live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. The American Music Awards are produced by dick clark productions. Tune in to see if Wallen takes home one of the awards.
