Morgan Wallen’s most liked photo on Instagram this year also happens to be a “very special moment” of his life.
In a recent Year-End quiz with CMT, the “More Than My Hometown” singer answered some multiple choice and fill in the blank questions recapping his momentous year. One of the questions asked was a fill in the blank about his most liked photo on Instagram in 2020, which amassed over 619.6k likes. He thought it was the moment when he announced his forthcoming new album, Dangerous: The Double Album. However, that wasn’t the case, it was actually the photo of the moment he revealed to the world that he has become a father to his first child, a son, named Indigo Wilder Wallen.
Wallen said that that was a “pretty special moment” in his life and he is so glad that people could feel that through the photo.
“Oh yeah, the one with my son, I mean that’s a pretty special moment in my life, a very special moment in my life, so I’m glad people felt that through that photo,” Wallen recalled.

Wallen welcomed his first child, a son named Indigo Wilder on Friday, July 10 at 5:43 p.m. with his ex-fiancée, Katie Smith. The baby weighed 6lbs, 13oz at birth. Indigo is the first child for both Wallen and Smith, the couple were engaged for 3 years before breaking up in 2019.
The singer’s is set to release his upcoming 30-track album, Dangerous: The Double Album, on January 8 via Republic Records.
Just a few days after the release of the highly-anticipated sophomore album, the superstar will perform songs from the album during a livestream concert event at The Ryman on January 12.
