Morgan Wallen made his acting debut in his new “7 Summers” music video on Monday, November 9.
The country superstar revealed the news via Twitter on Friday, November 6 saying “I’m going to announce my new music next week as well as make my acting debut in the 7 Summers video.”
Now on Monday (Nov. 9), Wallen has shared the Justin Clough-directed short film that has a storyline of Wallen struggling to get along with his Father as he is forcing him to pursue playing baseball when he isn’t interested in doing so before sitting down with an old love interest who later in the video is seen walking away with her family, soundtracked by his latest single “7 Summers.”
In the new music video, the singer also revealed the release date for his forthcoming new album. It seems fans have figured out that the numbers on the backs of the baseball jersey’s in the opening clip represent the release date for his upcoming album.
It appears that Wallen’s new album, which details of have yet to be unveiled is set for a January 2021 release.

“7 Summers” was co-written by Wallen alongside Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.
This Wednesday (11/11), Wallen will perform his chart-racing Top 3 single “More Than My Hometown” while vying for New Artist of the Year on the 54th Annual CMA Awards airing on ABC.
